The assertion drew a sharp rebuke from the VTA administration
The union head who represents Valley Transportation Authority workers asserted on Saturday that a male employee who was arrested after making workplace shooting threats was “facing pressures” to receive a vaccine shot mandated by the transit agency.
Loftsrom has been working for the VTA since 1999, according to his Facebook profile page. He is currently being held at Santa Clara County jail on $25,000 bail, according to the facility’s booking page.
