Will Smith goes back to his Fresh Prince-era days in the trippy new trailer for GeminiMan
, the upcoming action film directed bySmith plays Henry Brogan, a highly skilled assassin who get chased down by an even better assassin. When he comes face to face with his attacker, he realizes the other man is also him—or, rather, a 23-year-old version of him named Junior, made from a sample of his blood. Movie science; you have to love it.
In the new trailer for the film , Brogan tries to talk some sense into Junior. But the 23-year-old doesn’t listen, already too brainwashed by his mad scientist father figure Clay Verris . “The whole point of this thing was to give you all of Henry’s gifts without his pain,” Verris tells the young assassin after he starts to feel conflicted about chasing down Brogan. Which, by the way: Henry Brogan. Henry? Brogan? Not the most chilling name in the history of assassin cinema, but hey, maybe it‘s supposed to help him blend into the Real World.
