When Daniëlle Cathari walks into second-hand stores and spots worn-in, vintage Adidas tracksuits, she see endless possibilities. During her third year as a fashion student at Amsterdam Fashion Institute, Cathari presented a collection complete with deconstructed Adidas tracksuits and posted her designs on Instagram, quickly catching the attention of VFiles, and later Adidas senior vice president Nic Galway—and Adidas’ legal team.
